Robertson, Crockett and Frizzell were described by the Adjutant, Flight Lieutenant L G Hind, in his scrapbook, as ‘three inseparable Canadians’. The rear-gunner, Hebb, was also Canadian.

Lancaster III JA958 OF – K. Op Nuremberg. T/O 2143 Bourn. Crashed at Erlangen, where those who died were buried. Their remains have since been taken to Durnbach War Cemetery.
