Last summer Matt Barker visited Little Staughton, once home of two PFF Squadrons – 109 Squadron, flying Mosquitoes, and 582 Squadron, flying Lancasters.  Matt’s grandfather was with 582 Squadron from December 1944.

Unlike many old Bomber Command airfields, this one still has several key buildings remaining, including the control tower which is now a house. It also has bags of atmosphere.
